Introducing "40Things"

This year we have a Year of Fundraising Fun planned and we’d love for you to get involved.

“40 Things”, is designed to inspire creativity and connection. From cycling 40 miles a day for 40 days to baking 40 cakes to sell, or even dancing non-stop for 40 hours – the possibilities are endless. It’s a fun and impactful way to rally behind a cause that touches so many lives.

People think hospices are all doom and gloom and it's not. It's so happy and so joyous. We might not have a lot of time left, but if I can laugh with ease and have a joke and sometimes be a bit rude, that's what it's all about. Life is for living.

I cannot thank and praise all of the staff at Tapping House enough for the care, compassion and dedication they showed towards not only my Mum (who sadly passed away this week) but towards us as a family there with Mum. Nothing was too much trouble and they ensured that what was an incredibly difficult time for all of us, was as comfortable and relaxed as possible and allowed Mum to pass peacefully and with dignity. I shall remember each and every one of the staff that we dealt with, with my utmost gratitude for what they did in Mum's last few days.
