Tapping House Open Gardens
29th June @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Join us for a delightful fundraiser here at Tapping House where as part of the National Open Garden Scheme, we open up our beautiful Hospice gardens for all to enjoy.
The Hospice garden, set in approximately two acres, has been created and maintained by a team of volunteers.
The site was purpose built and opened in 2016. The gardens are still being developed but many areas are well established and provide a peaceful and tranquil backdrop to patients, visitors and staff alike. There is a variety of cottage garden plants, perennials and shrubs. There is a vegetable plot, the produce of which is used by the kitchen team and wildlife area with pond.
Feel free to turn up on the day, but if you wish to book you can do so via the National Open Garden Scheme website.
Admission is £4.50, children are free.
Light refreshments will be available to buy and full wheelchair access means that our garden space is perfect for all to enjoy – including well behaved dogs!
