Pot of Gold – A Magical Evening of Shanty Music

Pot of Gold are a group of eleven musicians and friends, now in their ninth year of sprinkling shanty magic over audiences from Lands End to the East Coast and points in between. Having performed at the iconic Minack Cliff Theatre, Norwich’s Maddermarket Theatre, Ely’s Maltings, churches and shanty festivals around the country they sing from a collection of one hundred songs ~ originals written and arranged by Crew members, or basically any lyric that mentions water, ships, sailors or mermaids.

Expect a totally inclusive, entertaining evening. Full of great songs, fantastic harmonies, humour, brilliant musicianship and audience participation.  Add to that the only British Sign Language signing shantyman and you’ll have an unparalleled experience.
