Author Afternoon – Bubbles & Canapés: with Nick Acheson
11th June @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Hosted by Leanne Fridd and Bailey Marchant
Nick Acheson is a conservationist and author who now lives by a village duckpond in North Norfolk. After fourteen years of working with wildlife on “every continent and ocean” he returned to his native Norfolk determined to help protect the environment and every creature that depends on it, by never taking a flight again. He concentrates on writing teaching and campaigning about nature and the need to preserve it.
His first book was a run-away best-seller; ‘THE MEANING OF GEESE’ is the heart-felt story of his commitment following North Norfolk’s winter flocks of wild geese from their inland feeding sites back to the marshes every evening – on his mother’s 42 year-old bicycle, covering 1,200 miles!
Bubbles & Canapés is included in the ticket.
This is a supporter event held at Tapping House and all profits raised will go to the Hospice.
